Q&A with Sandy Kramer

michailia asked:
Hi Sandy, most queer that I happened to check on this. (I was previously commenting on your Bali pot). Funny thing is your Cyclop is one of the well known characters in our greek mythology and I did not expect a non-greek to make such a doll. In case you do not know he belongs to a famous epic work by Homer (antique greek poet) and his notorious greek hero Odysseus who had to stick a sharp pole on his single eye to render him blind and get away from his cave. He was a giant monster figure ferocious but stupid alright. It is a long story, and widely sold as an adventure book for children all over the world. Name is ODYSSEIA. Just in case somebody would like to make a gift of it to your friend. I guess it exists in engligh. Michailia
Sandy Kramer answered:
Thank You for the info. I didn't really know anything about him. I just enjoyed making him. I've made 7 little monsters now. And given them all away. :)
