Cross Body Bag out of Coffee Sack.

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I draw up the pattern for the bag myself. Although the Bag came out well,, the bag is a little big for me (I like smaller bags). It is back to the drawing board again.. See my website and blog for more details. Website: http://www.bag-a-poncho.co.za/ Blog:http://bag-a-poncho.blogspot.com/ What advice would you give someone starting this project? In the process of getting the pattern ready to sew the product for selling, it is important to invest some time in sewing some bags. That is the only way to see that a specific pattern will work for specific material.

What you will need

  • Coffee Sack for the outer bag and ShweShwe for the lining.

Love the bag. It's so nice to see how each designer has their own idea. I added mine and hope you take a peek.
Carry Gear answered:
Your bag look real pretty with the dolourful trim. At first I battled with the jute because some of the jute coffee bags are very loosely woven, but I am getting better. Especially when one sell the bags you must know what you are doing I just hope the people that bought the first bags (Messenger Bags) forgive me my mistakes.Go and have a look at my blog.
