Crib dust ruffle

What was your source for this sewing project? Crafty class Sew Little Nursery Design and a tutorial on Sew4Home.com Source of Photo: My own photo of the dust ruffle I made Link to tutorial sew4home.com/projects/bed-linens/355-stylish-baby-nursery-crib-dust-ruffle- What are you most proud of? The professional looking finish of the french seams and blind hem. These features were not something I would have even conceived of before taking the Sew Little Nursery Design course on Craftsy. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Like Dorie says "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming." Don't let your mind defeat you. You can do it! Ruffles, french seams, blind hems, they all seem scary until you work through them. And if you make a mistake...that is what your seam ripper is for. Also make sure you have the right tools for the job. A tuned up sewing machine and nice sharp shears are going to make any project so much more do-able.
