Couture Dress MUSLIN

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Really proud of the attention to detail and the fact that I'm taking my time to make it perfect. What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. Take your time 2. Don't take any shortcuts 3. Enjoy the process. You will learn so much.

What you will need

  • Calico (as we call it in Australia)
  • known as muslin in the US.

Thank you. The dress is actually being made out of a floral linen blend fabric. The silk organza is an underlining that goes in between the linen and the lining. All new to me and I'm looking forward to the whole process.

Thank you! It took a while but I think I got it in the end. Fine tuned it slightly more since the photos were taken. :)

Thank you - I am loving the process very much. I cut out and traced my silk organza tonight.
