Finishing it to such great standards What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are beginning this project just zoom in on pictures to get the measurements of patterns. I always include tips with all my patterns and the pieces usually fit an A4 sheet unless otherwise mentioned, so you can copy and blow up to fit A4 or just draw your own. Also use cardboard to keep the patterns for a long time as they are mostly the basis of most hand made hats/caps and can be used to make vastly different styles.
