Classic Shirt No. 5

What are you most proud of? On this shirt I'm very proud of the pockets - my first time - and the buttonholes. Also on this shirt I adjusted the pattern to allow for my forward rotated shoulders. Still having problems with getting the collar band just right. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Shirt making isn't as hard as it seems, especially following Pam's instructions. Give it a try you will become addicted.

Q&A with Calumn

Pam Howard asked:
Hi Calumn! Another great shirt! I really appreciate that you decided to change your plan and make the shirt a short sleeve version instead of scrapping it due to a cutting error. You turned this into an opportunity for a design change :-)) Great pockets and buttonholes! Thanks so much, Pam
Calumn answered:
Thank you Pam. Your the inspiration - I love how you showed us how to correct errors that occur!
Carla Caslake asked:
Love the short sleeve version!!! It looks very cool and breezy for hot days!!! What kind of fabric did you use Calumn?
Calumn answered:
Thank you! The fabric is a cotton remnant I got from a fabulous store here in Vegas - Heddi's.
