Butterfly shirt

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of making a shirt that fits and that I will actually wear. I also like that I was able to use my serger and my embroidery machine. The 2 machines that I sometimes feel guilty over buying because I barely use them. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't over think it. Just follow Barbara's instructions and you will have awesome results.

Q&A with Khubb

Anterrie asked:
The fit looks really great! Did you have to do any adjustments? Also, I share your guilt over buying machines that get little use...
Khubb answered:
I had to adjust to make the waist and hip area bigger and, I made the peplum longer. I didn't like where it originally fell so, just made it about 5 inches longer. I'm gald someone else shares my guilt LOL
Colleta asked:
Wow! I love it. I thought I might not like that style on me, but it looks really good on you. I think you have inspired me to make it now. I have 4 machines and I haven't sewn anything for myself in years because I could not get the fit right. I sew for lots of others a lot. Now I am going to sew for myself again. Thanks again to you and Barbara.
Khubb answered:
I had my doubts about whether or not I would like this style, too. I am really glad I decided to make it, though. I really love the way it turned out. :)
Sew Blessed Maw asked:
I love your top.. Great job and the fit is fantastic. Really looks pretty on you.. I can't wait for my pattern to come in..But i just bought the class a couple days ago.. I think I have watched it through twice..lol
Khubb answered:
I think it took like a week for me to get my pattern. I am in no way a patient person so this was a loooooong week. LOL
MomGrandma asked:
YOU DID IT! The fit is great, love the embellishment. I've got to try this...as soon as I can get a sewing machine to replace my 30+ broken baby. :_(
Khubb answered:
I hope you get your machine replaced soon. I know I would be pulling my hair out. :(
ramonamp asked:
You did a beautiful job fitting this blouse! I haven't mastered fitting without all the puckers around the shoulders and bust. Great job.
Khubb answered:
Thank you. I really couldn't have done it without my husbands help.
