What are you most proud of? The hem of the bride's dress could not be to the floor with a train, because her father escorted her down the aisle in a wheel chair. I was proud we found an attractive length and the ruffled tulle was so delicate peeking out from under the upper layers. The dress was fun to twirl around in and she didn't worry about her dad rolling over the hem of her dress. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure if you are working with duct tape manequins that the person the dress is for understands they must wear the same bra under the T-shirt that they will wear under the finished garment. Since I wasn't there during the taping, I almost had to remake the bodice for one maid. Fortunately she still had the original bra and was able to hide the straps under the straps of the finished dress otherwise the bust would not have fit correctly. I would not recommend anyone undtertake a project like this from 3,000 miles away. The manequins don't indicate the hem length so I wasted a lot of fabric making them long just in case the girls were tall or wore high heels.
