Bree's reversible vest & skirt

What are you most proud of? that i found just enough bias tape to cover the seam between the waistband and the body of the skirt- also happy to discover how much nicer the weight of the skirt is with 2 layers of fabric, i might have to make this skirt reversible from now on!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? just think about other possibilities if you've found you are missing something vital to the pattern (like a lining fabric...lol)

Q&A with steelelady

K Lee 2Strings asked:
The reversible lining looks great, and it's so practical for a child. Spill something, and switch it around. Very cute little dress and perfect for school, too.
steelelady answered:
thanks, it did turn out cute, hopefully my grand daughter will enjoy both versions!
Pamillia asked:
This outfit is adorable. So very well done. Great pointers also. Thanks for sharing.
steelelady answered:
i hope it goes well with the kitty necklace, looking forward to seeing Bree in either version of it!
