Project

Boat Seat Covers

What are you most proud of? Fitted so nicely. Nice and tight. I pondered on how I'd do it for a while and decided to make a side opening for cover removal and cleaning. My technique worked well. The zip was a success, very functional. Casing it was a challenge - I'd never done anything like this before. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Think well before taking the plunge. The trick is that it has to fit well and the user has to be able to remove it for cleaning..

You Can Make This

Malcolm McKay made Boat Seat Covers with:

  • Poly Cotton and 30" zip for the cover. I used the original form which is the cushioned seat.
