Project

Blue n' Orange Kindle Case

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I added a Tango Orange Zipper, and Orange Decorative Stitching. Tip-CHEAP PADDING: I purchased a baby crib bumper pad at Goodwill for 5 dollars. Holy, moly, there's enough padding there for quite a few projects. I de-constructed the bumper pad and washed the padding by hand. I made a sandwich of exterior fabric, padding, interior fabric--pinning all three layers together and quickly serged around the perimeter. This pouch now holds my Kindle, recharging cord, and ear buds. This would make a great camera case too. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go get some cheap padding at Goodwill. I know you'll find a nice baby crib bumper there to making some fun padding pouches.
