What are you most proud of? The waterfall of lace that panels the front of the overskirt. The original design didn't call for it and then we stumbled acrosss an off-cut of lace when we were buying the white satin for the underskirt and knew that it was perfect. It ended with a scalloped hem and I joined it to the two ends of the brushed cotton overskirt and gathered all of the lace in the gap between them so that it tumbles down to the hem. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to deviate from the plan if you think something else will work better.
