Baby Boy long pants

What are you most proud of? taking an idea i got from a gift to my grandmother from a friend and making life size baby pants - from a set of dishtowels! What advice would you give someone starting this project? if you are going to use dishtowels for this project, wash them several times prior to sewing. i found they shrink more than cotton typically does, and they shed a lot as well. These were a gift to a friend, I'm glad I did all the prep work I did - having a new baby is enough work. No one needs to be picking lint off of everything the baby is wearing either. Be sure to leave room in the pants for diapers, be they store bought or cloth!

You Can Make This

JillStraw made Baby Boy long pants with:

  • Khaki cotton with Multi-Chevron Cotton lining (pair 1) & dishtowels in red stripe w/solid white lining (pair 2); Snap Tape; Snaps (non-tape type); Elastic
