Project

Aussie all round tote

What are you most proud of? That I finished it, with thick leather, using my hand refurbished industrial walking foot machine. It basically said "what leather"? punching through the very thickest parts. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Seam allowances! Be generous! Be accurate with your cutting, and use a good quality rotary cutter. not a cheapie! I use a gingher 45mm rotary.

Q&A with Gregory Hall

Mary Shaw asked:
What a beautiful bag! Wonderful job. Love the color, and the lining fabric too!
Gregory Hall answered:
Thanks Mary. Very encouraging. Yes the leather hides I managed to purchase are top quality. Very soft and supple. My wife loves her new bag! ;-)
