Armchair Sewing Caddy

What are you most proud of? This caddy has all the requirements I've found I needed during my 60 years of sewing. Like most seamstresses I want everything close at hand. It's also terrific for traveling; just fold it over and put in a shoebox or other container. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use your imagination ! Think of other ways to use it (like a remote holder, pen and pencil holder) and make the caddy to suit your purposes. It can be a sewing caddy plus so much more. I like keeping my current pattern handy (in the large pocket) for all the handwork you end up doing when you leave your sewing machine. I have photographs of the caddy in progress and will be adding them to my blog. http://sews4you-peggyspretties.blogspot.com/2011/02/sewing-caddy-new-project.html

You Can Make This

Sews4you made Armchair Sewing Caddy with:

  • This is a copyrighted design. I made my own pattern. I used available fabrics
  • sand as filler for the pin portion
  • ruler print ribbon
