What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Apron - custom fit! Link to website or photo www.tanscraftingagain.webs.com/ What are you most proud of? The colours look great, This is a gift for my girlfriends 40th birthday. She does a lot of baking, We were all instructed not to buy her a present. Ha! So I haven't. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Think about the colour combinations you can do. Have some fun. Keep your unpicker handy because there is always something to correct.

I love crafting and when I get the time I do, but with a sick hubby and 4 sons it can be hard to do but it is one of my escapes from chores to relax and have a little fun. I love the apron because it makes me think of my Grandmothers and the good food they fixed. 8-)

I remember my nanna always wore an apron and my mum made mini ones for us the same when we were little. That was the old days!!! We always had to wear an apron to save our clothes from getting dirty. Didn

What did you use inside the oven mitt to keep themselves from getting burned when using it?

I used a layer of batting and a piece of flannel as well as the two outside pieces, I find this is enough. I haven't had any dramas when using mine.

Aprons are easy!!! Get a bit of paper and draw how you want it to look. Then become an engineer and make a pattern, sew it up and there you have it!
