A Place for Everything Handbag

Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I have designed and handmade the most practical handbag I have ever owned. I learned how to install a recessed zipper and make cording. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be sure to watch all the options that Brett shows. Really think about how you want your bag to function. There are many steps to making your bag - plan each stage and pay attention to the order that needs to be followed to include everything you want.

What you will need

  • Home decor fabrics
  • interfacing
  • zippers
  • cording
  • hardware
  • and leather handles

Your bag looks very professional and I love the colors. Did you also make the handles or purchase them. The handle making is my least favorite part of this class and I like shortcuts.
MamaSnook answered:
I purchased them from HautMess on Etsy - here is the link http://www.etsy.com/shop/HautMess?section_id=10432615

Brett, Thank you so much for offering this class. I had so much fun figuring out just what to put into this bag - slip pockets, zipper pockets, hardware, etc. I'm so excited to start my next project and thanks to this class I have the knowledge and confidence to do more.
