70's Project Bags

What are you most proud of? I prepped and measured well, and did enough hand stitching to make these very good quality. They're only little bags, but both are carefully made and well finished! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do a trial-run of the box pouch in fabric that isn't too precious first so you grasp the construction and the importance of precision in the measuring and seams. The pouch in the picture came out perfect but only because I'd done messy, wonky one before it!

You Can Make This

HappyLuckyAlix made 70's Project Bags with:

  • Two project bags: one simple drawstring
  • one a box pouch
  • both made in 1970's brushed cotton and lined in soft pale eau-de-nil coloured satin
