6 different style/colors - Long Sleeve T

What are you most proud of? I am most proud that I was able to complete 6 of these long sleeve Ts within a couple of days. I would have completed them sooner, if I didn't have life things that needed doing. This is a very easy project, and I will definitely be sewing/serging up more of these. I did modify them a bit by adding extra length. I don't like to be reaching and/or bending and have my tummy or back hanging out for all to see. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just follow the course materials and the videos and your project will turn out great.

Q&A with Lizzy Beth

Joanna Y asked:
Good job!I want to make one too but don't know which kind of fabric to use! Which fabric you like most in your projects?and why?
Lizzy Beth answered:
Thank you sewgoodmom!!! I actually like working with the interlock the best because it is thicker and is therefore more stable to work with; however, for the finished garment I prefer the knits with lycra because they drape nicer and are less prone to wrinkling :-)
Gjeometry asked:
I can't believe you made SIX of these already!! I'm still trying to figure out which pattern size to cut out for the hoodie. They are lovely, nice colour choices :)
Lizzy Beth answered:
Thank you Catja!!! I had the fabric, so I thought - why not. I cut them all out at the same time, and then just serged them up. It really was quite easy. I can hardly wait to see your hoodie :-)
Gjeometry asked:
You and me both ;) Do you think that having a serger makes the sewing with knits faster and/or easier? I've not sewn with one yet, but will be learning in my sewing class (the real life one, not the online ones).
Lizzy Beth answered:
I have sewn knits and I have serged knits. I can say without a doubt that it is much easier with a serger :-)
Diannamc asked:
Wow, this is inspiring. I just bought a serger and have been experimenting on knits. How did you finish the neckline using the serger? Did you top stitch with a sewing machine? Thanks.
Lizzy Beth answered:
Thank you Diannamc. You will love your serger. I triple top-stitched the collar with my cover-stitch machine :-)
Scheri Manson asked:
You go Lizzy. Six and counting. All of them are pretty. Sewing machine, seger and coverstitch.........using them all!
Lizzy Beth answered:
Thank you Scheri :-)
