What are you most proud of? I'm keeping this 3 button purse (a prototype) as it is a little less than perfect. It's the nature of the fabric as it likes to slip and slide around. The microsued upholstery fabric is difficult to sew, you'll need a 16/100 machine needle to construct, and is tough as nails to pin. There are things I will do differently on the next try. But it is always fun to create something new. Next time I will use a different fabric to construct this 3 button purse, NOT a tough upholstery fabric like this one. And the satin lining is beautiful, but not durable, and it slips/slides like crazy. Worth the effort--but many lessons learned on this project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't give up. Experimenting is fun. On to the next project . . . right?
