#CraftWedding -My wedding dress!

What are you most proud of? I went very couture with this dress--lining, underlining, boned bodice, waist stay, horsehair hem, hand-stitched appliques around the hem, hand-picked zipper, and hand-piecing and stitching all of that lace on the bodice! I felt like this project really stretched me a lot, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Allow plenty of time--the muslin stage alone took me 3 months!

What a beautiful job! The time you spent on it was well worth the effort. The back is especially beautiful too. Hope you enjoy married bliss!
sunnyb64 answered:
Thanks! I definitely wanted to make sure that there was a good view for the back, since that's what people would be seeing through most of the ceremony.
