PATTERN DETAILS

Adorable Diva Doggie Diaper SEWING PATTERN for your little female dog! Constructed of cotton, cotton blends and flannel fabrics, the dog diaper is fully lined and uses velcro closures at the back. The leg openings are trimmed with FOE (fold over elastic) for comfort while the waistband uses elastic on the belly to allow for a perfect fit. The dog diaper can be made with or without the cute ruffled skirt and is ideal for females in heat, traveling or incontinence. Make several for everyday use in different prints and colors! The SEWING PATTERN includes easy to read instructions, photos, cutting layouts, a notions list and necessary fabric yardage. Alteration instructions are provided to get a perfect fit for your dog. The sewing pattern incorporates fusible interfacing for stability and top stitching to give a quality feel and structure to the garment. This is a PDF SEWING PATTERN. The patterns and instructions are computer drawn and written and print full size on standard 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Patterns are not refundable due to their digital nature. Sofi & Friends
Sofi & Friends
Sofi was a tiny 1 ½ pound bundle of Yorkie energy when she came into my life in August of 2009. I had wanted a little companion for several years and now the timing was right. The remainder of that summer was spent learning to potty train Sofi – I was as new to the process as she was! Book after book repeated the difficulty of potty training toy breeds but I hoped to accomplish it before winter set in. Well, winter came and I found myself outside in the freezing winter cold with Sofi shivering at my side. I set out to find a tiny coat to keep Sofi warm during our frequent outdoor potty sessions. After a disappointing and fruitless search, I decided to make my own coat. A simple fleece jacket was designed and made in three different sizes that winter. She was growing so fast! Then jackets were made for my son’s little dogs and dresses soon followed. My kids urged me to make and sell the dog clothes but it just wasn’t the right fit. I loved making dog clothes but the fun part was creating the patterns! I had worked 20+ years in the design industry specializing in kitchen design – design was my passion. So I transferred my dog clothes designs from paper to computer and Sofi & Friends was born. I hope you enjoy browsing my pattern selections as much as I enjoy making them and I look forward to seeing photos of your little creations! P.S. Sofi is now potty trained :)
