Pattern Description: The perfect Shopping Companion. Roominess of a Tote with pockets a plenty for organizing all of your necessities; carries like a Purse with a pretty profile. A dropped yoke and double shoulder straps for comfort in carrying. Features two wrap around side pockets; perfect for keeping the essentials at hand. A front slip and zip pocket to keep phone, small tablet, keys and other essentials convenient and secure. Lined interior features a large back slip pocket and magnetic snap closure to keep everything neatly inside. Easy to sew- GREAT for beginners. You should already be somewhat familiar with sewing patterns and common sewing terms. Pattern features easy to install zipper, no zipper foot required. Materials Needed: 3/4 yard 54" wide Decorator Weight Main Fabric Note: You can use Quilting Weight Cotton Fabric for the Main fabric; you will need 1 yard of quilting weight to complete the bag. I would recommend if you like a more structured bag to add a layer of interfacing before adding the fleece to each of the outer pieces that call for fleece. 1 yard 44" wide Quilting Cotton Lining Fabric 2 1/2 yards 20" Fusible Mid-weight Interfacing 1/2 yard fusible fleece 9" or larger Coordinating zipper 1 Large Magnetic Snap for the bag closure Coordinating thread Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 -Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts. Detailed bag construction and zipper installation details that allow you to add zippers without needing to use a zipper foot!
