Pattern Details

This adorable teddy bear is simple to make! It is stitched entirely by hand, using the whip stitch around the edges, French knots for the eyes and straight stitches for muzzle lines on face. The bear can be personalized with a tiny tag. Wool felt was used for the ivory bear - felted wool was used for the tan bear - acrylic felt can also be used. Felted wool is wool fabric that has been washed and dried with heat - the heat shrinks and condenses the fibers so the wool fabric becomes thick and the threads in the fiber won't unravel. This four page PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns; detailed instructions written in English; and clear step-by-step photos. Copyrights protect this pattern from being reproduced in any media format to be resold. Permission is given for the pattern to be used to make and sell the finished bear ornaments in limited quantities. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY How to do simple hand sewing and embroidery stitches. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The finished bear is 4" x 4".
