Elastic is inserted through the ribbon casing. Bias tape is sewn around the pockets, pot holders and bottoms of the aprons (detailed instructions are included for sewing the bias tape). Aprons and pot holders are embellished with rick rack, ribbon and buttons. Medium weight cotton fabrics were used for the sample aprons and pot holders.
