Mom taught me to sew - then put me on a clothing allowance: $25/MONTH - but that was back in 1966. The ONLY way I could satisfy my clothing appetite was to make it myself. That lead to a major in Home Ec., managing a craft store, custom dressmaking - running my own fabric store/machine dealership from 1990 - 2003, and now I travel the country presenting my classes une, 2016, I'm operating more out of my wonderful home Sunroom Sewing Studio in Jackson, TN. . I have a website:, blog, facebook, pinterest - all that good stuff and try to do it all - but well. Goal: sharing the love of creative sewing!
