PATTERN DETAILS

This flower is a beautiful way to use up precious fabric scraps. These flowers can be made any size. These are quite easy to make. You can change the way these flowers look by using different fabrics and combinations. Sewing machine is optional. These flowers look great as brooches on a jacket lapel, on a tote bag, on a scarf, on a floppy hat or straw hat, on a belt, or as an accent anywhere. You can also add these to headbands or ponytail holders and other hair accessories. I think these would be especially nice on a gift package as a bow. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY basic sewing machine skills or hand sewing skills

Recommended with this pattern

  • sewing machine; scrap fabric
  • scrap felt; needle & thread; fabric glue

My name is Georgianna. I live in the Midwest, a transplant from southern CA. I moved here with grand plans of having a small farm and having organic fruits, vegetables, chickens, eggs, etc. I have come a long way toward reaching my goal, but it is still a way off. I am a registered nurse, having worked in telemetry and ICU. I am looking to get into a different kind of nursing that isn't so stressful. I love crafting of all kinds, I love making soap, I also am quite addicted to genealogy, having traced my family to the Mayflower. I love to read, my favorite type of books for reading are biographies and other non-fiction books, especially anything related to historical events. I am a fabricholic, I can't get enough. And I love to sew and make up patterns of new stuff. I have been sewing and making craft items for a very long time. I have sold many items locally at craft shows, and have dabbled a little with online sales, but I would like to pick that up a notch. My philosophies in life are honest, clean wholesome living, giving a fair day's work for a fair day's pay. I cannot pass by someone in need and believe that I will also be helped when I am in need. I wish all of us peace and harmony, health and happiness.
