Your choice of two sizes, reversible or zippered style, both with 7 pockets, AND 1,2,or3 straps (!) makes this a very versatile pattern. I designed this with 2 short straps and one optional long strap (to help the back-challenged!). Outside are 2 pockets that are perfect for a water bottle and a book, or whatever else you'd like to have handy. Inside, there are 5 pockets of various sizes. And there is a stiff bottom insert to help keep the bottom from sagging. Go to the beach, go to an art class, go to the park, go with your baby! You can pack it all up in this great bag. I am modeling the large size in the photo (and I'm 5'2" to give you an idea of scale). ** This is a sewing tutorial! Included are 6 pages of instructions (with dimensions for cutting fabric pieces - all rectangular) and 5 photos. ** Copyright (c) 2006, 2009 - Feel free to sell what you make from this pattern, but please include some attribution to me for the design. I love to come up with a creative approach to a conventional need. My mother has been a great influence on me. She has always been very creative and resourceful. And she tells me that my great-grandmother was a terrific seamstress, too (which I do not claim to be!). In addition to my sewing patterns, I have designed unconventional lamps, window coverings, table accessories and wall hangings. My inspiration comes from pretty much everything around me. I left the corporate world in 2001. Although I have been creative in varying degrees ever since I can remember, now I get to be creative full time - a total dream come true. I live with my husband, a woodworker, and 2 dogs in beautiful, rural Chatham County, North Carolina.
