PATTERN DETAILS

I named this pattern 'Refined' because it was my first pattern in my sweatshirt jacket line to offer the idea of seeing a sweatshirt as 'fabric + matching ribbing'...totally cutting a 2XL sweatshirt apart and RE-Cutting it from the included pattern. Not one but THREE separate styles (2 of each style) are included in this awesome pattern - which makes it my most popular pattern. Styles include a Standing V Neckline, a Tailored Collar and a Mandarin Collar. My 'Talking Patterns' is my invention of a website (URL given inside the PDF pattern) where you see a colored photo of absolutely EVERY step of the design and creation of these jackets PLUS my personally-recorded audio directions telling you what to do (or NOT to do) in that step. Of course, the most important photos are included in the PDF pattern along with awesome written directions.

Mom taught me to sew - then put me on a clothing allowance: $25/MONTH - but that was back in 1966. The ONLY way I could satisfy my clothing appetite was to make it myself. That lead to a major in Home Ec., managing a craft store, custom dressmaking - running my own fabric store/machine dealership from 1990 - 2003, and now I travel the country presenting my classes une, 2016, I'm operating more out of my wonderful home Sunroom Sewing Studio in Jackson, TN. . I have a website: www.londas-sewing.com, blog, facebook, pinterest - all that good stuff and try to do it all - but well. Goal: sharing the love of creative sewing!
