The wallet interior has space for cards as well as bills, and exterior has a zippered change pocket. This wallet is a practical gift, or fun “selfish sewing” for yourself! It is a great project to showcase a few of your favorite fabrics, so you can see them all the time. This wallet finishes at 7.5in by 4.5in. You will need: FABRIC: Fabric 1 - Exterior: 1 fat eighth, or 8in x 11in Fabric 2 - Interior: 1 fat eighth, or 8in x 13.5in Fabric 3 - Accent / Pocket: 1 fat eighth, or 8in x 16.5 Fabric 4 - Accent / Pocket: 1 fat eighth, or 8in x 20in Front flap foundation paper piecing: Scraps or as desired. Note that the fabric required for foundation piecing may depend on your level of comfort with foundation paper piecing. OTHER MATERIALS: Heavy-weight interfacing (70 Peltex® Sew-In Ultra Firm Stabilizer) 1/4 yard or 8in x 14in piece Thin-weight interfacing, such as Pellon Fusible Featherweight 911FF; 1/2 yard or 8in x 28in piece 7in zipper Magnetic snap button You will also need sewing or quilting materials such as a sewing machine, scissors, rotary cutter and mat, basic rulers, and thread. This pattern does not come with instructions on how to foundation paper piece, but there are many tutorials online to learn how!
