PATTERN DETAILS

Once upon a time I had a desire for a tote bag, but not just a regular old boxed bottom bag. I wanted something a little different. Something with some curves and a few design elements I could play with. Out of that desire the Nanette tote was born! A little more stylish than your average tote, you'll want to use the Nanette tote as an everyday bag! Design features include subtle pleating at the body, soft curves at the sides, and the option of making either a flat or rounded bottom. The split top design allows you ample room to access the contents inside. *tutorial for making the fabric flower can be found at http://www.rebekalambert.com/artsycrafty_babe/2011/06/yet-another-fabric-flower-tutorial.html BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic sewing skills SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 13" wide x 13.5" tall x 4" deep

I'm a mom of four who has a passion for making things in my spare time. Call me crazy, but if I didn't have this creative outlet I probably would be! I love collecting beautiful fabrics and using them to make bags, quilts, pillows and dresses for my girls. Aside from publishing my own PDF sewing patterns, my designs have been included in several books, including the Pretty Little series by Lark Books and the Craft Hope book, also by Lark. I've also contributed to the Stitch publication by Interweave Press.
