For this summer my sewing course ladies have asked me to do household items like bags, purses, peg bags and the like. So this is the first one to go out. A practical and stylish bag you can make in oilcloth or heavy weight linen/cotton mix fabrics. I tend to buy mine from upholstery outlets rather than fabric stores. They have beautiful selections and you will be spoiled for choice. Designed with both girls, boys, mums and trendy teens in mind. With one interior pocket, an easy access pocket on the outside, this bag is as functional as it is fashionable. For the classroom, boardroom, or wherever life may take you. Interior can easily hold your IPad or note book. Its just the right size for everyday outings. As an absolute beginner I would recommend you look out for my classy beach bag (coming sometime before the middle of May). Sewing has always been my hobby and my profession. I first trained as a tailor as a young girl after which I worked for some fabulous designers. To fit work around my son I became a teacher of Textiles and Product Design. When my son finished school and moved to the USA I decided to start my own business and do what I love best; draft patterns and teach beginners and advanced sewers how to make their projects look professional. I hope you enjoy my patterns and instruction. Now we followed our boy to the US and I get to sew in the beautiful Californian sunshine!
