Pattern Details

This design grew out of my experience making many purses, bags and totes designed by others. I wanted a stylish every-day bag that didn’t have a lot of complicated hardware, closures or structure; one that could accommodate a few extra things that I’d need for travelling (water bottle, passport, e-reader, reusable coffee cup, snack) or hold an unexpected purchase here or there (like a yard of fabric, or two skeins of yarn). I call it the Level Two Tote because it is the perfect pattern for a sewist looking to learn new skills, it is constructed from two outer fabrics with a durable bottom ‘level’ suitable for a quick clean and finally, it fits not only your everyday stuff but also a few extra items, thereby taking your purse to the next level! This pattern is written for rotary cutting, but the required pieces can easily be drawn on yardage with a ruler and pencil. You only need 6 rectangles of fabric to make this tote! Finished measurements: 16" wide across the top x 13" high x 5.5" deep at base See Photos for complete supply list
