"Jessie & Jack" @ approximately 11 inches tall, have wire armature legs and stitched on arms that are movable, which helps when it comes to creating poses. Jessie & Jack can be simple to make, and take very little velour, but could easily be made with cotton too, which might make the tiny fingers more manageable for some. This versatile pattern has many illustrations to guide through the making process. Make one taller or shorter by extending or decreasing the tops of the legs. A small group of dolls in different sizes would look good! I have made the doll many times, as a girl and a boy and have included the clothing patterns. I have used fur fabric for hair, as it lends itself well. Also included in the pattern is how to make the felt hat and the shoes. Have fun with this doll, make them old fashioned or contemporary. Adults like to play with them and create stories by posing them. They make a wonderful personal gift or collector's Item, or just the sheer delight of making them for yourself! The pattern includes full pictorial and written instructions on the sculpting etc, required to make these delightful little figures.
