This is the first class I started teaching at The Workroom. It is the much loved classic that is a sure fire hit! I use this bag myself, and find it indispensable now that it is in my life. A slightly challenging piece to make, due to it's size and final hand-stitching for the bias seam binding on the inside, the pay off is SO worth it! I started teaching this class 2 years ago, and it still sells out to this day. I look forward to seeing photos of completed bags. All the best, Guy BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Capable of using a sewing machine. Hand sewing

I've been sewing since I was 5, and studied Fashion Design in College. I am a self taught bag designer, and started teaching my craft a few years ago at The Workroom, and this led to demand for the patterns I had created for the class. I also work as a consultant for a number of companies doing product development for textile based goods. I am so thrilled to be able to offer my bags as PDF patterns now. There is a great sense of victory that my students have when completing the classes, and I am happy to share that on a global scale. Feel free to share photos of the bags you've made on my Facebook page, Guy Latulippe (Garment Engineering) All the best, Guy
