PATTERN DETAILS

Are you looking for an insulated lunch bag that is super cute as well as functional? With this in-depth pattern, you can make one in no time! This pattern will make a good-sized Esky-style lunch bag suitable for a child or a grownup. It has waterproof lining for easy cleaning and care. I sell these handmade lunch bags on Etsy as well, but since they are very popular, I decided to write the pattern as well. You'll enjoy working with different materials, and perhaps learn a new skill or two, such as: * how to insert a zipper * how to make a lined zipper bag * how to work with materials like nylon and Insul-Bright * how to make a bag with a flat bottom. You can see more photos of finished sample lunch bags here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/121585663/insulated-lunch-tote-bag-with-waterproof? You can also read more about this lunch bag in my blog post here: http://www.piggledee.com.au/insulated-lunch-bag The best part of the pattern is its new format: I use a landscape, presentation-style format with large, clear photos (and so many of them, too), and easy-to-follow steps in large text, presented in bullet points. It is perfect for viewing on your laptop screen or tablet as you sew, without the need to be printed out. I actually won't recommend printing it out if you can help it. The PDF pattern is 20+ pages long, and will take a lot of paper and ink. I hope you'll love the pattern as much as I do. I spent a lot of time working on it, so even a beginner should be able to make this bag. I had FIVE people test out the pattern for me, and they all raved about it! If you have questions, just send me an email at asako@piggledee.com.au. Happy sewing... happy lunch time!
