Why spend a fortune to buy that designer zippered I.D pouch when you can make your own for a fraction of the price? It's zippered at the top, sports a key-ring, and includes a pocket to hold an ID in the window. The project doesn't take much fabric or much time, so it's the perfect gift. If you are new to sewing, it might take a little longer, so be patient! NOTES: (1) I just corrected the pattern -- and added the interfacing for the pocket! (2) As for the reviewer who noted that the top (near the zipper) is unfinished - at the bottom of page 5, you'll see that you fold the top over about 1/4" - that fold goes on the zipper. There shouldn't be a raw edge at all. (3) Yes, this is not a good project for beginners! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Sew a consistent 1/4" seam Sew binding SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 5" wide by 3 1/4" tall
