PATTERN DETAILS

The Imagination Station Lap Tote is an art tote and lap desk in one. You can fit a 24 pack of crayons, 10 markers and 12 colored pencils in the pockets. This listing is for the sewing pattern only. This is a pattern you download instantly and print at home. This listing is for a digital pattern only. Each finished panel measures approximately 12"x12". The Imagination Station is suitable for children and adults of all abilities. There is a large pocket on the inside to hold extra books and supplies. There is also an outside pocket for coloring books or whatever you would like to carry. The handles make transporting easy and there is a panel that folds back to make a desk/table surface. The art supply pockets are positioned for easy access while sitting and to ensure that the art supplies will not slip out during use. The Imagination Station can be used with or without a table available. It can be used on any lap! The pattern is designed for woven fabrics. I would rate this as intermediate because you will be sewing pockets with gussets. For this reason, I would not suggest it as a beginner project. Pattern pieces with placement markings are given so there is no guess work. I have included instructions for altering the pockets to fit non-US standard size pencil, crayon and marker boxes. You may also alter the pockets to fit whatever you would like to include in your Imagination Station. PDF patterns are non-refundable. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing.

My sales prices are exclusively on Craftsy. I began sewing as a child. Eventually, friends and family encouraged me to sell clothing. From there, I began to design my own patterns. Additionally, I have taught beginner and intermediate sewing and pattern making. When I am not drafting and testing patterns, I also offer custom labels and printing for other small businesses.
