Pattern Details

I was SO done with diaper bags, once my babies were toddling. But I still needed to be prepared for diaper changes on the go. We were on the go a lot, it seemed. Diaper changes away from home were so inconvenient. I wanted to be the happy mom I was at home and not the worried mom who couldn't find a place to set the wipes within reach. This changing pad bag turns any bag into your favorite diaper bag. Just add a couple of diapers and your travel wipes to the bag part, and away you go. The wipes are accessible and attached to the pad. The pad has an easy wipe marine vinyl side for messy changes and a soft cushy fleece side too. This makes a smashing baby shower gift. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You just need to know how to use your sewing machine, I will walk you through the details SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The finished bag part is 11" by 7" by 2.5" The changing pad part folds out to almost 28" by 18"

Recommended with this pattern

  • You need a walking foot for your sewing machine
  • 1/2 yard of marine vinyl
  • 1/2 yard of cute cotton fabric

Like so many sewists I know, I have been sewing since the age of 6. I started at my mother's feet, fashioning her scraps into doll clothes. By age 16, I was spending Summers sewing my wardrobe for the coming school year. I was known as a creative dresser. I wrote my first sewing pattern in 2006 as part of applying for a patent. Now I have thousands of satisfied sewing pattern customers and am very happy to be part of the online sewing community.
