Use this tutorial to make a heat bag to help ease aching muscles or to keep your feet warm and cosy! Make one or two for yourself or make one as a gift for a friend. I recommend using Cotton Drill fabric for a heat bag as it's 100% Cotton and thicker than quilting cotton. You could also use an upholstery weight cotton fabric or a double thickness of quilting cotton too. I do NOT recommend using synthetic or polyester fabrics as they may melt when heated in a microwave. This is a very quick and easy project to make and is suitable for beginners too. I love sewing and crafts and making things for my kids. I especially love making softie toys and in the last couple of years I have been designing my own softies and writing patterns too. I LOVE fabrics especially the bright fabrics and kids prints. I have also recently started holding sewing classes for kids too - which have been great fun.
