Two things to know before you purchase this pattern to make a fun collection of fruit for the kids: 1. No felt. (I don't like felt and I do like to wash fake food- a lot.) This pattern calls for cotton-remnants, scraps and fat quarters are prefect. 2. I am lazy. If it is quick with little hand sewing it's perfect for me so I try to keep hand sewing to a minimum in all my patterns. So there you have it in a nutshell; fake food, made from cotton and quick to make. As an added bonus it's super cute too. Fruit is for the most part life size except for the strawberries which are larger for safety concerns. Ten pages of detailed instructions with over 30 photos! Hand sewing is kept to a minimum so construction goes quicker! Full size patterns included. All patterns from Pattern Play Designs are copyrighted. I am a crafter with sewing and designing as my first crafting loves. I have two children who keep me on my toes and inspire my creations and a wonderful husband who tolerates the yards of fabric that have taken over our office. Most of my patterns are designed for the advanced beginner. Those who have completed a basic pattern before, are familiar with reading pattern instuctions and have a working knowlegde of the basics of sewing. The patterns are also designed to be quick so you can complete them in a few evenings or a weekend.
