PATTERN DETAILS

I have come up with a beautiful Fold Over Clutch pattern with the use of Renaissance Ribbons by Amy Butler. Of course there are many ribbons to choose from on line or at your locale fabric store. You can also make the clutch without the ribbon. The clutch can be made with or without the detachable strap. I have shown every step using three different designs with ribbon. You can create your own style too! Fabric: 1/2 yard of cotton fabric for outside; 1/2 yard of cotton fabric for lining. Clutch 1: Ribbon used: 12" of 1" wide ribbon; 14" of 1/2" wide ribbon Clutch 1: Hardware: Three (3) 5/8" D rings and Three (3) 5/8" Swivel Trigger Snap Lobster Claw Hook, 15.8mm Clutch 1: Zipper: 10" (25.4 cm) Handbag Zipper **************************************************************** Clutch 2: Ribbon used: 24" of 1" wide ribbon; 36" (1YD) 1/2" ribbon Clutch 2: Hardware: One Set Purse Strap Clip, 5/8" D ring and 5/8" Swivel Trigger Snap Lobster Claw Hook, 15.8mm Clutch 2: Zipper: 10" (25.4 cm) Handbag Zipper **************************************************************** Clutch 3: Ribbon used: 1.5 yds of 1/2" ribbon Clutch 3: Hardware: One Set Purse Strap Clip, 5/8" D ring and 5/8" Swivel Trigger Snap Lobster Claw Hook, 15.8mm Clutch 3: Zipper: 10" (25.4 cm) Handbag Zipper BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY use of a sewing machine SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Folded: 11" x 7" high (27.94 cm x 17.78 cm high)

I have always had a desire to create. My interest in sewing started very young sitting by my grandmother's sewing machine watching her sew. I was fascinated by how things were put together. I have been sewing and creating for over 30 years. My first sewing pattern was published in 2008 and I have not stopped since. The Aggie Wristlet/Clutch pattern was just featured in the Anna Griffin, Inc. Quiltmarket 2013 in Portland, OR. You can read more about it on my blog! It was an honor.
