Sew your own cloth diapers! The fattycakes diaper pattern has been around and has remained popular since 2006. The Fattycakes diaper pattern is a fairly trim diaper while still providing good coverage. It will fit a very wide range of babies. This version of the fattycakes pattern is written so you can sew your own envelope pocket diaper that you can stuff with your own soakers. I like to use a trifold microfiber towel. This is a very simple diaper to make. You will need PUL (polyurethane laminated fabric), a wicking inner fabric such as microfleece (don't confuse the thicker polar fleece with microfleece), suedecloth, or sport dry fabric, snaps and elastic. You can also very easily use the fattycakes diaper template to make All In One diapers, All in 2 diapers and fitted diapers. Of course, you are more than welcome to sell (unlimited) covers that you make from this pattern and I would LOVE to see what you make!

My name is Berritt. I love crafting, I've been creative as long as I can remember. I have many hobbies (many that come and go!) but sewing has been one that has stuck with me. I taught myself to create patterns, to grade sizes, and to digitize the patterns in adobe Illustrator. It's an ongoing learning process and I love it. I started selling my patterns on etsy in July of 2010 and was actually in the TOP 500 etsy sellers last year!! Number 459, to be exact. That is actually a pretty big deal! Out of ALL the etsy sellers out there...I was number 459. My other interests are baking, photography, and scuba diving (Yes, here in the Puget Sound) I can spin yarn and knit but don't do it often anymore. I have 4 beautiful daughters that I adore, and a wonderful and supportive husband who is absolutely the love of my life! I couldn't do all that I do without him standing behind me (supporting my ever growing list of hobbies and letting me buy all the supplies my heart desires!) I have a sweet German Shepherd named Scout, 2 cats, Oliver and Tuna, and a micro flock of backyard chickens. It's a zoo around here. A busy, busy zoo. It's often chaotic, and cluttered. But I'm so very lucky.
