PATTERN DETAILS

This sewing pattern for two variations of a basic fabric flower will have you creating your own stylish embellishments in no time! This is a fun, versatile pattern and you can find many uses for your finished fabric flowers. Use them on headbands (as shown), glue them to pin backs, sew them on pillows and lots more! This first pattern in my new line of beginner sewing patterns features 15 pages of photos (lavishly illustrated with pictures of the finished headbands!), step by step instructions with pictures for every step, and all instructions carefully written and formatted. Directions are written separately for both petal variations (pointed and rounded), and highlighted so that if you're just making one, you can find the instructions for that one easily. Skill Level: Beginner (Please note: This pattern is not meant to teach sewing or using a sewing machine; it is for a beginner who already has a basic knowledge of sewing and the machine and wants to continue with some simple sewing projects) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You should already have a basic knowledge of your sewing machine and how to use it SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The finished fabric flowers are suitable for clothing or accessory embelishments from newborn through adult

Recommended with this pattern

  • Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies (tape measure, scissors, pins, thread, etc...)
  • 1/8 yard each of two different cotton quilting fabric prints of your choice
