Need to make a quick gift? These are very popular now! This Nursing Cover-Up is one layer of fabric, not two layers like some, so it's lightweight for the hot weather. It is quick to sew up with my easy , step by step instruction with 5 photos and 7 diagrams. There is strong curved plastic (called "boning" in the Notions department in the sewing shop), that sits at the nursing mothers chest so she can look down at her baby as she's discretely breast-feeding in public. I've taught beginning sewing for five years to ages 8 and up to adults. I saw the need for clear instructions with good diagrams/photos for beginners. You beginners can make this with these easy step my step instructions. This is a pdf file. You can print it out on 8.5x11 inch paper. BE SURE to set print to "actual size" not "fit", or your pattern will not be the correct size. BE SURE you have Adobe Acrobat Reader (which you can download for free http://www.adobe-reader.org/). * By purchasing this pdf pattern, you are agreeing to not sell this pattern, distribute it for free, make copies, or in any way imply that you are the author/designer. You have my permission to print it for yourself. Not permission to email to others or make copies for others. You have my permission to make up and sell your finished items. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY sewing a straight line measuring folding ironing SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS one size, about 25x36 inches

ME, Barbara Edmondson - FROM STUDENT TO TEACHER: I've taught sewing for 5 years and my business did very well. I started creating simple patterns for first time sewers that are very easy to follow, mainly because I couldn't find any I was happy with to teach beginners from, and have seen that my students like my patterns. I take quite some time to write up a pattern & have my patterns proofread to help me edit before I offer them for sale. I hope you enjoy sewing from them as well as my students. Many pattern companies print lovely photos but their instructions are lacking detail. I want to make patterns that are easy for the those people (any age as long as they can read) first time who are new to sewing. Then of course they'd be super easy for people who already can sew. WHAT I LIKE TO DO: I love creating things. I like sewing, knitting, crocheting, and paper crafting. I also like photography. I live in Texas, just northwest of Houston, in an area known as Klein (but the mailing address town is Spring).
