That's Artrageous would like to introduce the Royal Cutie-Patooties and their cute, cute Car Pillows! The Royal Cutie-Patooties Car Pillows are designed by two of my charming grandchildren, ages 7 and 5. The idea for the car pillows is a spinoff of an art projects they were doing with me. Once the pillows were completed the children carried them everywhere. They were so cute and got such rave reviews from everyone we decided to offer the patterns and launch a business collaboratively with my business, That's Artrageous! And just maybe their little business venture will start a little college fund for the children. If ever you want to know what kids want just listen to them. Children have great ideas! The idea of the car pillow came about because Reese (7) needed something to soften the edge of the car seat on long trips when she gets tired. A big pillow is too bulky but a small soft one can be tucked in places a big one cannot. The pillow is just 11 x 14 and can be filled to the child's specifications. The images used for the pillows are derived from the original drawings by the Royal Cutie-Patooties themselves. I scanned, enlarged and made the patterns in Photoshop. I tried to maintain the integrity of the original drawings as much as possible, changing only for the sake of the success of reproducing the design in fabric. I hope you enjoy the little pillows as much as we do. Today, I whipped one out and am heading to the hospital to take one to a family member in the hospital instead of taking flowers. Flowers fade and will end up thrown away, the little treasure of a pillow will be around for years. Much love, Nana Dee BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic sewing skills and the ability to follow directions are all the skills necessary to complete this project. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 11" x 14"

I rise early in the morning and go down late in the evening. My desire between waking and sleeping is to make things pretty or make pretty things! I have been in secondary education for twenty years teaching high school art, helping young adults recognize their creative nature or trying to help them develop one. I thought I had given up sewing when my little ones grew too big to applique their clothes and make cutesy clothes for them. I rediscovered that love of creative sewing one summer two or three summers back when I wandered into a quilt shop with my sister (the queen bee of quilting) and saw a little clutch purse pattern that looked too simple not to make. I was hooked! The rest of the summer I was designing purses and have been doing so every since.
