Have you been looking for a way to tidy up your messy makeup drawer? Tired of using several different "not quite right" storage solutions to keep your personal stuff organized? You probably never would have guessed how easy it is just to make yourself something that suits your needs perfectly. Moreover, when it gets a little grungy over time, you can just throw it in the washing machine! Whether you want something to sit permanently on your counter at home to organize your makeup and day to day personal care stuff or whether you want something lightweight that you can throw into your suitcase for use when you travel, the (reversible) Crafty Cosmetics Caddy is your answer. If you've sewn practically anything at all in the past, this project is for you. There is nothing intimidating here... just simple straight line stitches, no zippers, no buttons, no fasteners... and all of the required pattern pieces are rectangular. What can be easier? This beginners' level project can be completed in an evening if you have all of your supplies at the ready. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY If you've done any sort of sewing in the past and can sew a straight line, you can make this! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished caddy size is approximately 8" long by 3" wide x 4" high, but the pattern provides instruction for resizing.

A seamstress in my younger years, I abandoned the hobby for three decades. Then I discovered that people sewed "stuff" other than clothes and blankets. What an eye-opener! The discovery has led to me to take a personal sewing journey... one that will hopefully see me progress from student to designer. Thanks to places like Craftsy & Spoonflower, I am well on my way!
