Pattern Details

Carry your pie or dish to your next potluck in style! I created this pattern when I saw a similar casserole or pie tote brought in by a co-worker heading out to a potluck. Heavier weight fabrics work best for this bag, plus you can option to add a layer of Insulbright for insulation. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Sew a straight stitch, use rotary cutter and mat and rulers, SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished bag:15" x 15" x 1/2"

Recommended with this pattern

  • Fabric needed: one half yard of each for main and inner lining. (I prefer heavy weight cotton) 31"x16" of heavier weight Fusible interfacing. Optional: 16"x16" of Insulbright interfacing.
  • Oilcloth can also be used for this bag, inside and out, as well as Kraft-Tex for the handles.
  • Thread, wonder-clips, scissors, sewing machine, steam iron, ruler, rotary cutter and mat.
