This is a great tote bag large enough to fit all you need. Features: *One main compartment interior lined with cotton and taffeta in brown. *One red pocket inside. *Closes with a magnetic snap. *An embroidered floral accent is added as a final touch on the front side. This original design allows mixing fabrics and colors so you can achieve a more formal or extravagant look. For the beige tote I(tm)ve chosen coordinating patterns of a tapestry fabric. I used floral one for the upper part of the body of the bag and striped one for the bottom part and the handle. Lining in beige. Most of the contemporary fabrics come in collections combining solid color, stripe and floral versions of one and the same material. This way your options are unlimited and your quality and professional looking result is guaranteed because all the parts of your bag will fit perfectly in color and thickness. For the green tote I(tm)ve chosen to merge the upper and bottom parts of the exterior pattern. This way I had enough space for decoration. I added free flowing pin tuck lines all around the bag and a floral print on the front side. I used here two fabrics - green linen and black lining. The present tutorial follows the sewing of the tote in raspberry red and dark chocolate brown. The large size of the bag and the fact that both fabrics were in solid colors allowed me to add decoration again - simple embroidered floral accent on the front side. Lining in brown. Hi, my name is Maria and I'm from Bulgaria. I have an arts degree, majoring in fine art. I am mainly a painter and interior decorator, but I love sewing and designing. I've been sewing as long as I can remember. As a child dresses for my dolls, later clothes for me and my sister on my mom's sewing machine. I bought my first sewing machine more than 10 years ago. Last year I add an overlocking sewing machine to my home atelier. On Oct 27, 2009 I opened my online shop on Etsy called DELINDA BOUTIQUE which goes pretty well lately. I started selling pillow covers and art. Later I added bags and prints. Now I found Craftsy and I'm so happy to share my ideas here!
