I love the characters from Alice in Wonderland, especially The Mad Hatter. One day I started wondering what if I could design a teddy bear Mad Hatter? Voila! The Bear in the Hatter 14 inches tall, 18 inches at the tip top of the hat, fully jointed made from 2 Schulte mohair colors - black and string. The face is inset and had expressive artistic eyes of authentic shoe buttons and an embroidered nose. The Hatter Original design hat Add the embellishments or favorites you find: delightful fairytale enameled charm reads "Once Upon a Time." A hand inked note tucked into the crown reads "In this Style 10/6." A gorgeous brown and light blue ribbon circles the brim. AND THE TAIL A button-on tail completes this delightful original bear. STORY BOOK FAIRY TALE BEAR SERIES Included are precise and detailed written directions, step by step through the entire bear making process: from pattern cutting to sewing to finishing. Pen sketches illustrate the 5 step process of inserting the face. Antiquing The Bear, The Mad Hatter Story page, and Caring for your Bear included. 20 pages of pattern templates with outfit sewing guide and instructions. PDF: 22 pages SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 14 inches tall, 18 inches tall wearing Hatter

My name is Ginger, and I began sketching and designing fashion styles when I was 5 years old, just like my mother and grandmother. Stick pins and lovely tan tissue paper were my favorite play items as a little brown haired girl, and still are today! Some ladies dream of Prince Charming, but I dream of a dressmaker form on a stand. From haute couture to pattern design, I truly love dressmaking and bearmaking. Hugs, Ginger Stockwell
